About Lola's

Made fresh, served warm, on Long Street.

A cultural brasserie where Cape Town's locals, freelancers and travellers share the same room — and often the same table.

Our Story

We started with one belief: good food should start a conversation.

Lola's opened its doors on Long Street with a simple idea — a place that works just as well at 6am with a laptop as it does at 9pm with a cocktail. Everything is built around that flexibility: an all-day menu, a kitchen that never really closes, and a team that treats first-timers like regulars.

Our produce comes from Western Cape growers we know by name. Bread, scones and croissants are baked in-house each morning. The coffee programme is treated with the same seriousness as the grill — single and double shots, red espresso, and almond, coconut or oat for anyone who prefers it.

And then there's the plate itself: Benedicts done properly, shakshuka with real heat, zebra and kudu handled with respect, and a vegan bobotie good enough to convert the sceptics.
